We have used Cox Excavating for several jobs on our property out here near Bangor. He leveled part of our property creating a pad to put on a single wide modular in-law quarters. He created a pad for our pool. He repaired our Culvert and has grated our drive-way on several occasions. He has integrity and has always been fair. We would recommend Cox Excavating without a doubt! In 2010, we purchased a 2,650 sq. ft. modular home that we wanted "pit-set." We contracted with Bob Cox to excavate our property and dig the very large pit where the foundation stem walls and pier pads were later poured. He was instrumental in ensuring that surface water would drain appropriately away from the foundation on all sides, as well as setting drains from underneath the home. There was extensive cement work planned, so Bob prepared all of the areas and worked well with the contractor to ensure correct elevations. We would recommend Bob for any project small or large and continue to consult with him on other projects as they arise. The thing that we appreciate the most is that he listens well and offers intelligent solutions relying on his vast experience in the business.
When my husband decided he wanted to install an in-ground pool, we ran into several obstacles. It had to be installed on a slope and could not be installed transverse across the slope because of the path of our gas line. We needed an expert excavator! We called Bob! He took an impossible situation and made it happen. He had to excavate into the hill and use that material to build up the other half of the platform. It was perfectly level, well compacted, and a beautiful sight to see. We could not have asked for a better job! Suffice it to say Bob is an artist on an excavator!
